On-Screen Keyboard doesnot appear on Windows 10 with Hive, Nuc

When using Hive or Nuc or iFlipChart on a Window 10 PC, the text entry icon that shows when a text field is clicked does not activate the Windows On-Screen Keyboard (OSK).
The problem is a generic one affecting certain types of apps on Windows 10.
This was initially reported back when Anniversary update for Windows 10 was released and was fixed by Creators update, but has re-appeared in a subsequent update.
To fix this issue a registry fix is required to add the following:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7]
"EnableDesktopModeAutoInvoke"=dword:00000001
This can be applied via the registry patch in the following file:
http://apps.softoffice.com/apps/win10_osk_reg_fix.reg
