Touch not working with Windows 10
Last Updated 5 years ago
On some iBoardTouch screens, the touch port USB does not work when plugged into an external PC on windows 10.
The same models with Windows 7 work fine.
This issues has so far been seen on some models of HP laptops.
When the issue occurs, the Windows System Tray pup-up message repeatedly shows "USB Device not recognized".
The issues appears to be the Windows 10 + chipset driver for these laptops affect the power levels of the USB ports.
If there are no updated drivers available to resolve the issue, a workaround is to use a shielded USB cable, such as the one below:
AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to B-Male Cable (3 m / 10 Feet)
